my beach house obsession has been going on for about six months now, i don't think i've ever mentioned them here though. i saw them play last week at the music box, crouching between the legs of people standing against the railing of a balcony, their set was a spacey triangular cone shaped stellar explosion, their stage presence that of true musicians, and you could feel the communal awe of an entire audience being moved by music. now all i do is look at live footage and studio performances. here are my favorite songs from the night I saw them:
