along with a a funky one called "rio sao francisco-imagem sinfonica" by a brazilian composer named joao guilherme ripper. wish there was a video for it because it contained lots of interesting percussion. at least he has a myspace.

we were the only young people, surrounded by little old brazilian ladies. tickets were cheaper than an average dj night at a good club in brazil so we made this our only musical experience and it left me pleasantly surprised.

going to rio for 2 weeks, i may or may not have internet. we'll see.

i like it more than my other mixes because i didn't have anyone in mind while making it. and i am so happy i found the link wray cd i thought only existed on vinyl so there's a little overdose of that as well as 100dbs overdose because its better than all the other hip hop out there at the moment; plus if you listen to all nine minutes of track 4 you get a special surprise somewhere near the end. pure nostalgia, and a tribute to all music !!
