just watched this film called primer, made on a $7000 budget by a mathematician, about two guys who develop a time machine and the events that follow. it's really complex and takes some time to understand it entirely as i had to watch some scenes over again but its as scientifically accurate as time travel can get (or the most convincing) and not to mention overall well done cinematography, dialogue and music. it won best film at sundance in 2004 but never seemed to receive much other attention. highly recommended.
