synecdoche is my favorite film of the year and one of my personal all-time favorites as well (i saw it six times in the theatre...wtf)

OH and do not miss the film "XXY" (netflix it brah)
great lil argentine film about sexuality and family structure
touching in all the right places
and the cinematography is done by one of the world's finest, natasha braier (who also did the cinematography to "in the city of sylvia", see above)
the attention to detail in each frame renders most american films as laaaaazy
stunning stuff.
